Question by Anon: The media.............................................?

I have to do a feature article about women in the media and i have to talk about 3 topics, im doing women and body images, sex objects and age discrimination.

And im not sure what to write about age discrimination ? The media uses young women and when they have to have an older women they photoshop her etc... can anyone think of any more points i could write about?

How about the fact that in movies, leading men that are old are always hooked up with young women? It happens in tv too. Very rarely do we see a young man with a much older woman. Male actors become grizzled as they age, and still get work - look at Harrison Ford as an example. Female actors, well, they have a harder time getting work as they age.
